What the Fund Is
An Evergreen Approach to Investment
Baraka Healthcare & Ventures Fund is structured as an evergreen partnership, giving investors exposure to both current and future assets in a unified portfolio. Unlike fixed-term funds, the evergreen model enables Baraka to reinvest, manage capital with flexibility, and focus on long-term prosperity.
Built on transparency and governance, the fund reflects Baraka’s mission: to align physician-led expertise, ethical principles, and healthcare real estate into investments that serve both communities and investors.

Fund Structure
Independent, Secure, and Transparent
Our fund design combines security with accountability:
Independent Administration – Third-party administrators provide NAV calculations and transparent reporting.
Secure Custody – All assets are held at Chase Bank in segregated accounts.
Oversight – Governance supported by an LP Advisory Board, with final authority resting with the General Partners.
This structure ensures every decision is subject to independent checks and guided by strong governance.
Governance, Oversight & Experience
A Structure Designed for Sustainable Growth
Baraka Healthcare & Ventures Fund is built to support long-term prosperity, not short-term speculation. Its design allows partners to participate across both current and future assets, creating continuity and stability throughout the portfolio.

Risk Management & Oversight
Prudent Processes to Safeguard Capital
Prudent risk management is at the heart of Baraka’s approach. Every project undergoes conservative underwriting and pipeline filtering. Physician co-investment aligns operational decisions with clinical realities, and all activity is subject to annual independent audits.
Quarterly NAV updates and Advisory Board review provide additional layers of accountability and transparency.

Governance & Ethical Framework
Guided by Principles, Grounded in Ethics
Baraka is founded on the principles of amanah (trust), niyyah (intention), and ihsan (excellence). Our fund follows an Ethical Investment Framework that reflects professional discipline:
- No involvement in prohibited or harmful industries
- Clear income purification protocols if required
- Ongoing oversight from noted faith-based scholars
This framework ensures that every investment reflects our values as well as our discipline.

Technology & LP Experience
Modern Tools for Clear Communication
Transparency extends to the investor experience. Through a secure LP portal, partners gain access to:
- Capital tracking and documentation
- Quarterly NAV reporting
- Performance dashboards and updates
This digital-first approach makes it simple for investors to monitor fund activity with confidence.
Why This Structure
Built to Support Sustainable Growth
Designed to compound across current and future assets while maintaining discipline and transparency.
The evergreen model is designed to give the fund flexibility beyond the limitations of traditional, fixed-term vehicles. Instead of winding down after a set period, the structure enables Baraka to hold, reinvest, and manage capital across both existing and future assets under one unified portfolio. This creates continuity, avoids unnecessary asset sales, and ensures that value can be built with patience rather than urgency.
By combining operator-led insight with disciplined capital allocation, Baraka’s structure supports investments that require time to mature such as physician-led platforms and healthcare infrastructure projects. It reflects a principled approach where every decision is guided by transparency, ethics, and long-term purpose.
For our partners, this structure means participating in a model designed to endure: one that prioritises sustainability, accountability, and the creation of lasting impact.
